Search tips

• Select whether you want to search for Nuer or English using the radio buttons.
• Search using the nominative singular form of a noun, or the non-finite of a verb.
• Search using a single character (e.g. n) or a sequence of characters (e.g. nya) to find all the words in the dictionary that start with that letter or sequence of letters.
• Use the keyboard in the searchbar to type Nuer characters that might not be on your keyboard.
• If you are using your own keyboard or character viewer to type a vowel with diactritics, type the vowel character first (e.g. ɛ), then the combining diaeresis (¨) and then the combining macron below (_).
